QUALIFICATIONS

I hold the Diploma in Advanced Psychodynamic Counselling from Westminster Pastoral Foundation (wpf),click here one of the most respected and established counselling and psychotherapy trainings in the U.K. The training, which takes place over four years, is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). It also leads to individual registration with the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and membership of the Foundation for Psychotherapy and Counselling (FPC) the graduate body for wpf counsellors and psychotherapists.

In 1999 I obtained the Diploma in Time Limited Counselling and Psychotherapy from Westminster Pastoral Foundation (wpf). The training offered me a greater understanding of the theory and techniques of short term work and enables me to offer both long and short term contracts to my clients.

In 2002 I received the Certificate in Supervision of Counselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Leicester. This allows me to offer supervision to other counsellors.

I have experience of and expertise in a number of concerns people bring to counselling, including family issues, relationships, bereavement and loss, sadness and depression, adolescence, anger and feeling out of control, self esteem, abuse and its aftermath, self harm, issues from childhood and eating disorders.
